Leny started her career with DKI Jakarta, then advised the Minister of BAPPENAS for PPP leads (2010-2013). Subsequently, Leny was appointed Advisor for Infrastructure to the South Sumatera Governor. In 2016, she joined the Independent Committee of Acceleration Priority Infrastructure Delivery (KPPIP). Since 2017, Leny joined Relecom & Partners as Indonesian Country Director and Senior Partner. 

Leny still runs some expertise missions for Indonesian Government, notably for Infrastructure, Public Transportation and Housing. In october 2019, Leny was appointed Expert Leader for Logistic System for the development of the New Capital City. Recently she received an ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Award.  

Leny graduated in Civil Engineering from Gadjah Mada University (Yogyakarta, Indonesia), holds a Master Degree from New South Wales University (Sydney, Australia) and a PhD in Infrastructure Financing from Curtin University (Perth, Australia),
